Zain Bahrain is in the final stages of implementing its new network and this may result in service interruptions, it said last night.

On Sunday, customers in some areas faced a temporary service disruption, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

"We apologise for any inconvenience faced by our customers and ensure them that the team is working around the clock to complete the implementation of the new network with minimal interruptions," a company spokesman said.

"We expect to launch our new network before the end of the first quarter. The new network will ensure a superior experience for its customers."
