Menatelecom launches 4G top-up cards

Manama, February 24, 2014

Menatelecom, a leading telecom operator in Bahrain, has introduced broadband top-up cards to help customers manage their Internet accounts more efficiently.

Customers can choose various top-up options that suit their requirements starting from BD2 to BD20 ($5 to $51) at very competitive rates, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Menatelecom chairman Abdul Razak Jawahery said these cards are the first of its kind in Bahrain. "They provide customers with the option of increasing their download limits once their threshold has been reached and to continue to receive the same 4G LTE experience of high speed downloads and browsing," he stated.

"Menatelecom customers will not have the frustration of waiting until their download limit is reset before they receive their full 4G LTE speed, they can simply top up their account using these cards when they have used up their package downloads," explained Jawahery.

"We anticipate that the demand for this service will be great and will contribute towards the further growth of our subscribers which has already exceeded our targets after the successful launch of our Nationwide 4G LTE packages in Bahrain," he added.

Jawahery said the company had recognised that there was a need for top-up cards in the market to meet its subscribers' needs for more downloads and to have more control of their Internet usage.

"Initiatives like this that put the customer needs first, together with reliable speeds and nationwide coverage have created loyalty as customers have the confidence and trust in our services," he added.

Menatelecom launched its Nationwide 4G LTE packages earlier this month with many residential and business packages to suit every need. Customers are now enjoying high speeds and generous download thresholds which can be instantly increased by using Menatelecom's top-up cards.-TradeArabia News Service
