VIVA said it has become Bahrain's first telecom operator to offer mobile HD (high-definition) voice technology to its customers.

"VIVA customers will be the first to enjoy crystal clear audio quality for calls between mobile phones, further enhancing their communications experience when using the high-speed network," chief commercial officer Andrew Hanna said.

"All VIVA customers will enjoy immediately the benefits of this technology when receiving or making calls from an HD Voice compatible smartphone without having to register for this premium capability and at no cost.
