Microsoft showcases at Bahrain IT expo

Microsoft Bahrain is showcasing its latest technology innovations at the two-day Bahrain IT Expo starting today (April 22) at the Bahrain International Circuit.

"The new generation of products and solutions is available on interactive demonstration stations, with experts on location to offer insight into the ways in which Microsoft is helping empower businesses, educators, governments and individuals to do more of the activities they value the most," Microsoft Bahrain public sector manager Hamad Al Saei said.

Microsoft will demonstrate the Windows 8.1 update, which allows users to rediscover cloud connectivity through the SkyDrive and the updated Windows Store.

The official said the company is also a "Diamond" sponsor of the Bahrain e-Government Forum 2014, under the ambit of which the IT Expo is being held.

"This comes as part of our commitment to Bahrain, the government and people. Each year, the Bahrain IT Expo brings to the kingdom a unique platform to experience all the latest innovations. It brings an opportunity for organisations to connect and decide on their priorities for IT investments," he said. – TradeArabia News Service
