Batelco unveils 1Gbps dedicated internet service

Bahrain’s leading telecommunication provider Batelco has launched the first 1Gbps Dedicated Internet Service in the kingdom.
It has also introduced new speeds including 25Mbps, 150Mbps, 200Mbps, 300Mbps and 500Mbps, to meet the demand from customers for higher bandwidth, said a statement.
Batelco has announced a price reduction of 38 per cent for its popular 100Mbps Inet Dedicated Service, it said.
The Inet Dedicated service offers a high-speed, symmetric and dedicated internet connection and features a domain name with a ‘bh’ country code to help facilitate an online presence.
Additionally, a subnet of eight IP addresses enables customers to host services such as email and web servers.
Adel Daylami, enterprise division general manager, said that Batelco continuously reviews all its products and services to better serve all its customers.
“We are very pleased to be empowering our business customers by delivering a wider range of speeds to suit the needs of our Inet Dedicated customers and be the first service provider to launch 1Gbps speed for dedicated internet in Bahrain,” he said.
“We understand that customers are always looking for value-added services that ensure better customer experience. In Batelco, we strive to offer such services with the proposed solutions to meet and exceed customers’ expectations, said Daylami.
“Such services include highly qualified pre-sale and solution engineers, and an online monitoring and reporting portal.
