Riyadh, July 3, 2014

Mobily, a leading telecom operator in Saudi Arabia, has launched a first-of-its-kind service that enables business customers to connect to Sadad’s payment services through the virtual Mobily network IP VPN.

“Sadad Access Service” is a value addition for business customers who are looking for innovative ways of payment for their products and services provided to their end-customers, said the company in a statement.

Sadad is a Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency system that connects the commercial sector and the government entities with local banks, offering the ability to collect customer payments electronically through all the banking channels in the kingdom round the clock.

The new service is targeted towards current Sadad’s billers and any new subscribers who have an agreement with the payment system.

Ismail Saeed AlGhamdi, the acting chief business officer, said: "The Sadad service is yet another milestone for Mobily and confirms the transformation of the company into an integrated ICT services provider through providing comprehensive services that would facilitate the business sector missions."

"Mobily is based on a strong infrastructure and global agreements that lead to the delivery of world-class business solutions," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
