The ‘Adaa 2.0’ is aimed at providing an effective mechanism to manage institutional performance and monitor the execution of strategic and operational plans across the federal government entities in line with UAE Vision 2021, said the Emirates News Agency (WAM) report.

The new system underscores the government determination to consistent development of systems, mechanisms and methodologies of work based on new concept in provision of government services in a way that realises the UAE's future aspirations and its quest for leadership in various fields, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai was quoted as saying.

He stressed that the efforts to improve government performance through innovative delivery of integrated government services that match, if not better than, those in other countries require strict methods for measurement and a mechanism that helps the government to take actual measures that the citizen feels in his capacity as the final assessor of performance of government entities.
