Trime Media named agent for Dutch firm

Manama, May 3, 2013

The Netherlands-based InterDirect Network - the cross-border direct marketing specialist - has appointed Trime Media of Bahrain as its first representative in the Middle East and sole agent in the kingdom.

"We are very pleased and extremely proud of this achievement as agency membership is selected by invitation only," Trime director Khalid Salem was quoted as saying in the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

"InterDirect has a number of selection criteria for membership. The agency invited to join the network must have the ability and experience to develop international direct marketing campaigns, an excellent client list, and offer a broad base of services, including strategy, planning and database consultancy.

"In addition to this, the InterDirect Network, which has successfully been in operation since 1988, demands that the selected agency should have demonstrated consistently high standards of creative execution, the ability to work across a broad range of response media, and most importantly they must be independent direct marketing specialists.

"Trime Media made the grade on all these scores," Salem said.

Among the many advantages accruing to Trime and therefore its clients are access to specialist help and advice on cross-border direct marketing and the ability to tap into an unparalleled base of international expertise, which translates into specific localisation for international communications.

It also means that Trime will be responsible, within the Bahrain context, for the localisation of communications for InterDirect's international clients. – TradeArabia News Service
