LuLu chief in top global Indian list

Manama, March 10, 2014

LuLu Group managing director Yusuffali is one of six most popular global Indians, according to a leading Indian media organisation.

Yusuffali, along with ArcelorMittal chairman and chief executive Lakshmi Mittal, former Singapore president Sellapan Ramanathan, Sun Microsystems founder and US-based venture capitalist Vinod Khosla, Pepsi Global chief executive Indra Nooyi and Microsoft chief executive Sathya Nadela, are in the running to be elected "the most popular global Indian," reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

To recognise successful Indians globally and to celebrate their achievements, Times Now, an English news channel from Times Group, last month announced a new international initiative awarding successful non-resident Indians (NRIs) around the world.

The first edition of the Times Now ICICI Bank NRI of the Year Awards will be held in Mumbai later this month.-TradeArabia News Service
