Cartoon Network Arabic welcomes Emirati ‘Mansour’

Cartoon Network Arabic, a leading children’s entertainment channel in the Mena region, has welcomed Mansour, an innovative and exciting Emirati cartoon character. 
 
Mubadala Development Company, which is funding the initial phase of Mansour as part of its social development outreach, has partnered with Cartoon Network Arabic to launch the show on the channel in order to reach a greater number of young minds across the region. 
 
The channel will air a total of 14 episodes of Mansour Season 1, each episode running for eleven minutes and launching today (March 30). Through animated characters, fun storylines and engaging experiences, Mansour will give kids the chance to laugh out loud.
 
Mansour is a young boy with big dreams he shared with his friends and family. The plot incorporates important issues facing the young generation into exciting and compelling storylines designed to captivate their imagination. 
 
Mansour not only emphasises the importance of the Arabic language to maintaining cultural identity, but also the value of a strong education and a healthy lifestyle.
 
Tal Hewitt, VP and general manager Middle East, Africa and Turkey for Turner Broadcasting, said: “We are extremely excited to have partnered with Mubadala to launch Mansour.
