International Advertising Association (IAA) Bahrain Chapter chairman Khamis Al Muqla will participate in the 43rd International Advertising Congress to be held in Beijing, China from May 8 to 10.

Al Muqla is also the International Advertising Association (IAA) Worldwide board member.  

The IAA is keen on representing Bahrain at major international events and forums, especially this conference that will be held in China which has a strong economic and trade relationship with Bahrain, and further strengthened by the state visit of His Majesty King Hamad and the accompanying businessmen's delegation led by Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro in September, last year, he stated.

"The aim of attending the conference is to inform delegates about the economic, trade and industrial developments in Bahrain with special emphasis on the broad picture of media, especially Press, radio, television, cinema, Internet and other media," he added.

Al Muqla said Bahrain as member of the IAA Worldwide and a member of the IAA Award Nomination Committee will attend the board meetings that will be held during the first day of the conference.

The event is being held at the China National Convention Centre in co-operation with the Chinese Advertising Association.

It will be held under the theme of "Innovation and Evolution" and is expected to be attended by more than 1,000 delegates from 40 countries.

An additional event is organised on May 11 by the host city named 'Beijing Day' which will showcase to the IAA congress delegates the best of Beijing.-TradeArabia News Service
