Moulinex adds new features to 'Genuine'

Dubai, July 28, 2007

Moulinex, a leading domestic food appliances brand, has relaunched its classic kitchen blender, the Genuine, with a host of new improvements.

“First made available over 35 years ago, the original Genuine rapidly became the iconic food mixer; its compact yet sturdy shape marking it out from the crowd. The popular machine quickly found itself as a ubiquitous feature in household kitchens across the world,” said a spokesman.

The new Genuine builds on the success of the original model, retaining the style and qualities that made the machine such a bestseller in 1971, but also incorporates new features designed to make it an indispensable accompaniment for the modern culinary world, he said.

Adhering to its classic upright style, the new Genuine frees up space on work surfaces and ensures that its jug handle is positioned at just the right height for easy access. The improvements include a more powerful motor and an increase in jug capacity by 25 per cent. The easy-to-use on/off switch of the original model has also now been complemented with a ‘pulse’ function, for accurate split second mixing.

Special attachments for the 2007 Genuine include a coffee grinder, to deliver the perfect blend from your favourite selection of beans and a grater, which will eliminate the work from shredding vegetables and cheese. A unique Moulinex MixStick is also provided (patent applied for) to ensure consistency throughout the blend mixture.

“Powerful, versatile and simple to use, the new Genuine looks set to become a modern kitchen classic, rightfully carrying on the mantle from its standard-bearing predecessor,” the spokesman added. –TradeArabia News Service
