Countdown underway for SGI Awards

Countdown is underway for the inaugural 'SGI Awards 2011' designed to reward innovation and creativity in the sign and graphic imaging industry throughout the Middle East.

The event is being held as part of Sign and Graphic Imaging (SGI) Middle East exhibition which runs from January 24 to 26 at the Airport Expo Dubai.

The expo showcases products and emerging technologies from advertising, architectural hardware, banners and posters, digital imaging, electronic message centres, electronic signage, graphic imaging, graphic services, large format printing and signage.

The awards cermony will kick off on January 25 at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai. The event will focus on the use of outdoor applications for brand promotion and many other aspects of the signage sectors.

The key categories include: Most Innovative Marketing Campaign – Outdoor; Most Innovative Green Outdoor Application; Most Innovative Signage; Most Innovative Wrap; Most Innovative Digital Media; Most Innovative SGI expo stand (Spl award).

The ultimate industry networking event, the SGI Awards Gala Dinner will be the definitive celebration of talent. It is an ideal place for industry suppliers and service providers to promote their brand, meet potential customers and entertain existing clients, said event organisers, International Expo-Consults (IEC).
