SunCity Ventures has signed several agreements aimed at expanding its restaurants business in Bahrain and in the region in line with its long-term development plans.

Mohammed Adel Fakhro, chairman, SunCity Ventures, said: "It is our pleasure to expand our restaurants in the kingdom, which is vivid evidence of the solid progress witnessed by the company thereby greatly contributing to enhancing our beloved kingdom’s economic growth.” 

The company will implement its strategy this month in Al Ramli Mall in A’ali area, where it will open "Gloria Jean’s Coffees", one of the world leading brands specialised in best coffees and mouth-watering cakes that currently has over 1,000 branches in more than 30 countries globally.

Further, the company will open "The Yellow Chilli" in Seef Mall, the first branch of the chain in the Middle East. "Indian dishes are especially favoured in the GCC region with a rich niche market to penetrate, so we decided to have these ethnic dishes in Bahrain for everyone to enjoy the highest quality of traditional Indian cuisine by renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor who will open the restaurant next October," said a statement.

The restaurant will provide friendly and attentive service in a five-star ambience that will make people cherish their dining experience and make them come back for more, it said.

Ahmed Esam Fakhro, managing director, SunCity Ventures, added: "A new branch of Zayt Zaytoon, the ideal choice for delicious Lebanese food, will be opened in Riffa, near the BDF hospital.  Moreover, a new concept called "Vapiano", known for its delicious Italian innovative dishes, will be opened next year in a prime location in our market.
