Xpress Money visits labour camps

Manama, September 26, 2011

Xpress Money executives visited labour camps and residential colonies housing labourers in Bahrain to increase their customers’ understanding of what the company does and the services it offers.

Throughout the summer months, the executives went to the camps with presentations and collaterals. The ‘education sessions’ were also a platform for the brand to highlight new initiatives such as loyalty programs entitling customers to great rewards, benefits and surprises, by processing Xpress Money transactions.

Education sessions were held across Manama at different camps, the company said in a statement.

“Our quality customer service promise goes beyond the confines of our outlets because we understand that sometimes one has to go to the customer in order to drive one’s core message home.  By sharing pertinent information with our key target audience in the convenience of their own space, our messages seem to resonate better and we are able to connect with them on a much deeper level,” said Vinesh Nair, head of marketing at Xpress Money.

“The response to the education sessions across the region has been overwhelming and the feedback very positive, a testament to the success of such outreach programs,” he added.

The company also took its annual Ramadan quiz regional this year due to overwhelming response and growing participation.

Only open to residents of regional labour camps, five winners from across the GCC were gifted an all expense paid trip to perform Umrah – a holy pilgrimage that is very sacred to the followers of Islam. – TradeArabia News Service
