Raytheon to unveil key products at Dubai show

Massachussets (US), November 9, 2011

Raytheon Company, a technology and innovation leader specializing in defence and homeland security, is set to showcase its wide range of advanced technologies for international customers at the upcoming Dubai Air Show.

The major products to be displayed include integrated air and missile defense, global ISR, integrated fighter products, land and naval weapons, air traffic management and many others.

Raytheon expert Tim Glaeser will discuss about Nasams (National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System).

This surface-launched advanced medium range air-to-air missile system has been used by the US Army Air & Missile Defense Command to protect the National Capital region since 2006, said the company in a statement.

Raytheon offers a family of missiles that can be integrated into the NASAMS launcher, it added.

Steve DuMont will speak on Raytheon's role in air traffic management. 'We provide highly reliable sensor and information processing systems with state-of-the-art technology, experienced engineering design and test, and unparalleled support for mission-critical air traffic management operations worldwide, in both civil and military markets,' he noted. 

Jim Byrne will explain the functioning of Talon LGR, said the company in a statement.

Talon has completed a rigorous series of tests in the US and the UAE with successful safe separation flights, pilot training for guided flight tests, prove-in of test range telemetry capabilities, and guided flight tests from the Apache helicopter.

Raytheon offers an affordable, low-risk approach to meeting customers' mission needs, which leverages recent successes in the UK as a systems integrator. Raytheon will provide new information about its SMA business.-TradeArabia News Service
