ISNR Abu Dhabi opens with 220 firms

Abu Dhabi, March 19, 2012

The fifth edition of the International Security and National Resilience (ISNR 2012) Exhibition and Conference opened today (March 19) in Abu Dhabi with the participation of over 220 exhibitors from more than 24 countries.

Inaugurated by Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Interior and Deputy Prime Minister, the Middle East’s premier homeland security event will run until March 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Exhibiting products and services for border and transport security; intelligence and threat assessment; critical infrastructure protection; emergency preparedness & response; counter terrorism and resilience.

An important component of the expo is the ISNR 2012 Conference which runs daily from 9 am to 12:30 pm. The conference was opened today by Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Shafarr, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Interior.

Over the next three days, government officials, organizations, and experts from the region and around the world will discuss major security topics such as institutional and international HLS cooperation, piracy in the high seas, the impact of the economic downturn on global security, environmental terrorism, and the security of public events.
