Motorcity unveiled the latest Subaru 2009 range at the new Subaru showroom on Al Estiqlal Highway, Sanad.

The new state-of-the-art showroom houses a range of cars, including the Impreza Hatchback, Impreza Sedan, Legacy, Outback, Forester and Tribeca, said a report in our sister publication, the Guld Daily News.

'We are very excited to be launching the 2009 Subaru range at our new Motorcity showroom,' said Motorcity general manager Yann Lassade.

'Adding Subaru to our existing world-class brands gives our customers more choice.'

Subaru uses some of the most advanced and rally-inspired engineering technology in the world such as the Symmetrical All Wheel Drive system and the powerful horizontally opposed boxer engine, he said.

Fuji Heavy Industries manager Masahiko Ishikawa, who was on short visit to Bahrain for the opening of the showroom, congratulated Motorcity on becoming the official retailer for Subaru in Bahrain.

'I am very optimistic for the future of Subaru in Bahrain. With the recent increase in the automotive market by 40 per cent between 2005 and last year, the new 2009 Subaru range is set to make its mark in the coming years,' he said.
