Dubai Roads and Transport Authority is working on plans to launch an online facility that will enable motorists to renew their vehicle registration on the Internet.

Dubai RTA is currently arranging to integrate the system with the federal authority in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Police to launch the new service, Ahmad Hashim Al Behroozian, CEO, licensing agency of the Dubai RTA, was quoted saying in a report in Gulf News.

The report also quoted Al Behroozian as saying that renewal of Dubai-registered vehicles could be done in Abu Dhabi and vice versa, while the same rule would apply to all other emirates too.
