Navistar unveils 'MaxxForce' engines

US truck and diesel engine maker Navistar will be showcasing its latest 'MaxxForce' line of diesel power engines at the ‘Middle East Electricity show’ in Dubai.
Now in its 37th year, the Middle East Electricity show kicked off on Tuesday (Feb 7) and will run till Feb 9 providing the biggest platform in the region to do business in the power, lighting, new and renewable, nuclear and water sectors.
Navistar said it aims to further boost the company's operations in the Middle East and across the region.
'We are committed to the Middle East market and we are confident in our growth opportunities in the region,' remarked Dave LaPalomento, vice president and general manager of Navistar Global Engine.
Navistar, he said, is a truck and diesel engine manufacturer with roots going back 180 years and ranked 204 in 2011 US fortune 500 companies.
'We are making investments in the people, products and communities in which we operate because we see the Middle East region as a strategic growth area for Navistar for the long-term,' he stated.
Navistar will showcase its broad MaxxForce line of engines, which includes a wide range of gen-set models that offer 3, 4, and 6 cylinder diesels rated from 31 kVA up to 220 kVA standby power at 50 Hz. and from 40 kVA up to 260 kVA at 60 Hz.
The company’s MaxxForce engine brand has gained customers in a wide variety of markets worldwide, said Dave.
