KFH inks partnership deal with BIC

Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) has become the official banking partner of the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) under a strategic partnership agreement.

BIC chief executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and KFH-Bahrain executive manager and head of corporate banking group Sattam Al Gosaibi signed the agreement during a ceremony held at KFH-Bahrain's headquarters in Bahrain World Trade Centre.

KFH-Bahrain executive manager Abdul Razak Jawahery and BIC's commercial director Sherif Al Mahdy and senior manager for sales Bader Nasser were also present.

Commenting on the deal, Shaikh Salman said he was confident that by working together the two entities would achieve great success in the future.

"KFH-Bahrain's support for BIC over the years has contributed towards making Bahrain an international centre for motorsports events," he noted.

Al Gosaibi said through the partnership, KFH-Bahrain sought to help BIC in its role of supporting Bahrain's economy and boosting other sectors - tourism, sports and transportation.

"We will work closely with the BIC to continue to further boost Bahrain's economy and sustain the success of the motorsports sector globally," he said.

"During the past 10 years, the BIC has accomplished many achievements through organising the Bahrain Formula One race and other motor races," he said.-TradeArabia News Service
