Halliburton names Mideast VP

Dubai, April 23, 2008

Halliburton has appointed Gasser El-Badrashini as the company’s vice president for the Middle East.

Ahmed Lotfy, Halliburton’s eastern hemisphere president, said in a statement: “Gasser has been instrumental in developing some of the region’s most complex projects and will continue strengthening our relationships with national oil companies in this area.”

Founded in 1919, Halliburton is one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the energy industry and has been active in the Eastern Hemisphere energy services market since 1926.

With more than 50,000 employees in approximately 70 countries, the company serves the upstream oil and gas industry throughout the life cycle of the reservoir.
