Tejari Saudi Arabia launched

Tejari Saudi Arabia, an online procurement portal, was inaugurated at a reception in Riyadh recently.

The event, held at Al Faisaliah Hotel, was participated by Dr Hashim bin Abdullah bin Hashim Al-Yamani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Eng Mohamed Jamil Ahmed Mulla, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

"Tejari Saudi Arabia is being created specifically to enable both the private and government sectors in the country to realise the business benefits facilitated by online procurement, including dramatic cost savings, greater efficiencies, and enhanced market reach," said Abdulrahman Mazi, chairman of Tejari Saudi Arabia.

"We aim to achieve this by activating the latest editions and innovations in the various components of technology and communication," he said.
