Harman House sees 300pc sales growth

Dubai, January 24, 2011

‘Harman House,’ a leading retail chain in home, professional and car infotainment in the Middle East, said it expects a 300 per cent sales growth for this year's edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF).

‘Harman House’ said it attributed the rising sales of home entertainment sound systems and flat screens to growing consumer interest in Blu-ray technology and feature-rich audio and visual products as well as significant price reductions.

"Consumer electronics has become a key growth sector for emerging markets such as the Middle East characterized by a tech-savvy population and a strong tourism industry," said Amit Malani, President, Harman Middle East.

This DSF, Harman House’ is focusing on giving more value to the customer for each purchase of its bundle offers and promotions.

"The DSF will sustain the momentum of the popularity of technologies such as LED and Blu-ray in 2010, which meet consumer demand for electronic products offering enhanced connectivity, performance, speed, quality and convenience suiting their particular lifestyles," he noted.

Customers will have the opportunity to redeem 10 to 50 per cent of the purchase value on any audio-visual product in the store and also receive exciting gifts, said Malani.

Pricing will again be the main driver of sales; the company will continue to stand out for its premium home theatre systems that use the latest technologies to bring out every detail of sound quality and provide a maximum audio-visual experience, he added.

Meanwhile, ‘harman house’ is raising awareness of its ‘Sound for Vision’ concept, which says ‘Flat screens don’t have to sound flat’ - basically educating consumers on the role quality sound plays in having a complete home theatre experience.-TradeArabia News Service
