More than 136,594 people have visited this year's Autumn Fair till last night - with 22,594 flocking to the venue yesterday (January 27).

The expo - one of the country's largest consumer exhibitions that opened last Tuesday - is now in its 25th year and hosts over 750 exhibitors from 21 countries, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

A variety of goods are on sale including speciality food, fashion, furniture, technology, toys and textiles from China, Egypt, Kuwait, Turkey, Thailand, Syria, the UAE and Pakistan.

There is also an outdoor play area for children, with a live band and costume characters.

The fair, which ends tomorrow (January 29), is open from 10am to 10pm at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Tickets costing 700 fils ($1.8) are available at kiosks outside the centre, but children under five can enter for free. - TradeArabia News Service
