Amman, February 18, 2014

Samsung Electronics has unveiled new printing solutions and NFC printers at the Samsung Forum recently held in Malaga, Spain.

The solutions cater to small and medium-sized business across different industries and include server-free business core printing solutions.

Additionally introduced were the company’s latest set of printing services, including the XOA (eXtensible Open platform Architecture) web-based open platform tool, which provides customised solutions for distinct verticals.

Choong Ro Lee, president-Mena, said: “In 2013, Samsung demonstrated its leadership in advanced mobile printing technologies by releasing the world’s very first NFC printer, the Xpress C460 Series. In 2014 and beyond, the company will continue to focus on providing easy, user-oriented technologies.”

“Today, we are expanding our NFC lineup to include high speed printers that support professional and business users. Samsung will continue to provide mobile printing solutions to meet our consumers’ needs.”

The new mono laser printer ProXpress M2880 and colour laser printer ProXpress C1860 combine NFC and wifi direct technologies and enable 28 pages per minute and 18 pages per minute print speeds respectively.

The ProXpress series support mobile printing via Samsung’s mobile print app, which can be downloaded for free from the Google PlayStore and Apple App Store.

Samsung Galaxy users can also print directly from their devices with the natured ‘print’ button. Further, users can print on the ProXpress series with Google Cloud Print.

The company’s business core printing solutions offer two packages - an output management pack and a document management pack that contain five key solutions for heightened productivity, cost-efficiency, security, ease of use and simplified maintenance tailored to SMBs. - TradeArabia News Service
