Oman Air offers special rates to Dubai

Muscat, March 10, 2010

Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, has launched special rates for flights with full in-flight facilities to Dubai for a limited period.

For a one-way price of RO22 ($57), passengers can fly from Muscat to Dubai and avail a generous baggage allowance, pre-flight seat selection, extra baggage allowance, lounge access for Sindbad Silver and Gold frequent flyers, in addition to carry-on hand luggage, a statement said.

The offer is valid up to March 31, the statement added.

“Oman Air offers the best connections between Muscat and Dubai with up to six daily flights,” said Abdulrazaq Alraisi, general manager, worldwide sales, Oman Air.

“We are the only legacy carrier to offer a rate that cannot be matched even by low-cost carriers. With the superior services that Oman Air offers onboard all its aircrafts, it has become the most sought-after airline by passengers, be it business or leisure, especially to travel between Muscat and Dubai,” he added.

“We give business travellers more time on day trips and all other travellers more options and more choice. Furthermore, there is no additional service charge for bookings made through the omanair.com website. More than anything else, there are no hidden costs that leave the passengers embittered as they have to pay for everything, right from getting a seat, to legroom and food.”

Alraisi continued: “We plan to build on the legacy that we have created and the niche that we have carved as the airline that truly cares and caters to the needs of its passengers.”

“With more destinations planned for in the GCC, apart from other international cities to be added within our growing network, Oman Air is sure to consolidate its position as ‘the first-choice airline,” he concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
