Air Arabia to fly twice daily to Kathmandu

Sharjah, September 15, 2010

Air Arabia, the leading low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Mena region, will offer two flights per day from its hub in Sharjah to Kathmandu from October 31.

Air Arabia currently offers 12 flights a week to Kathmandu.

“Kathmandu is an ideal leisure destination for travellers seeking to experience the sights and sounds of this nearly 2,000-year-old city, nestled in the foothills of the Kathmandu Valley and in the shadow of the some of the world’s tallest mountains, including Mount Everest,” said AK Nizar, head of commercial department, Air Arabia.

“We are therefore extremely pleased to announce the expansion of service between Sharjah and the Nepali capital which will further enhance the travel options for the Nepalese community living in the Gulf,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
