Swiss-Behotel International has appointed Philippe Belhay as the general manager for  its upcoming resort, ‘Winter Valley Dead Sea by Swiss-Belhotel’ in Jordan.

Belhay, both a French and British national, brings with him over 25 years of experience in hotel management with an expertise in food and beverage operations, aquired in Europe, North Africa and The Middle East.

Thomas van Vliet, vice president of operations and development, Swiss-Belhotel International Middle East, said: “It is my pleasure to welcome Mr. Belhay to our growing team in The Middle East and I am confident that he, with his extensive experience, will lead the Resort through the challenging pre-opening phase into a smooth and successful soft-opening by the first quarter of 2011”
