Saudi airlines moves to Seef HQ

Manama, March 18, 2012

Saudi Arabian Airlines has announced plans to relocate its headquarters from Manama to the new Platinum Tower property in Seef area of the Kingdom.

The opening of the new premises for one of the oldest airlines operating in Bahrain is scheduled for July, Saudi Airlines Real Estate Development Company chief executive officer Mohammed Saud Alhashmi said.

The company, which bought office space on the 21st floor of the 27-storey building, also announced Dadabhai Construction had been selected to carry out interior decoration and fit outs of international standards at the new premises.

"We are delighted to have made a move that represents our accomplishment regionally and globally," said Alhashimi.

"We have studied all the options and found Platinum Tower to be the best and most suitable option for us with regard to its location and the business and financial centres that surround it," he noted.

Dadabhai Construction chief executive officer Ajith Kumar said their experienced team will be dedicated to providing top quality service in meeting the client's expectations. "We are honoured to be selected by the airline from among so many others," he said.

Platinum Towers promoters Pegasus Real Estate managing director Aziz Mithaiwala said they saw the move as wise.

"This is a company that has its roots firmly in Bahrain for a long time and we are encouraged to see they have chosen Platinum Tower, considered as one of the most prestigious office towers in the area," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
