Air Arabia, a leading low-cost carrier in the region, began its services to the Saudi city of Taif from its primary hub in Sharjah. The new service marks the airline’s seventh destination in the Kingdom and 74th worldwide.

Air Arabia said it will offer three weekly flights to Taif, making it easier and convenient for passengers to travel between the two countries.

On Saturdays,  Mondays, and Thursdays, flights will take off from Sharjah International Airport at 12.15pm and land in Taif Airport (TIF) at 2.05pm. On return, the flights will depart Taif at 2:45pm and arrive in Sharjah at 6.30pm.

In addition to Taif, Air Arabia operates non-stop flights the Riyadh, Jeddah, Madina, Dammam, Qassim and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia.
 
Commenting on the flights, Adel Ali, the Group CEO said the new service to Taif further contributes to the travel needs between Saudi and the UAE.

"We are confident that the new service will offer our customers a unique option for affordable air travel and a great connectivity to the wider region. We look forward to developing our services to Taif and the Saudi market," he added.
