Bahrain Air, Mobily ink Hajj agreement

Bahrain Air has signed an agreement with leading telecommunications provider, Mobily, to offer a co-branded SIM card to Hajj pilgrims on flights to Jeddah.

The SIM cards which will be equipped with pre-paid credit for travellers will be issued by Bahrain Air flight attendants following an in-flight announcement, a statement from the airline company said.
 
“With over 3 million pilgrims expected to visit the holy sites from outside the Kingdom during Hajj, Bahrain Air and Mobily show their support to pilgrims by offering these SIM cards on approximately 15 flights operating from different cities in the world.”
 
Nasser K Al Kharouf, vice president of channel sales at Mobily, said: “Our agreement with Bahrain Air carries a main objective making the journey of the pilgrims an unmatchable experience, assisting them to focus on their religious duties.”

Riyadh Al Ansari, catering & in-flight standard officer of Bahrain Air, said: “We are glad and honoured to serve the pilgrims in cooperation with Mobily. Our main aim from this partnership is to deliver the comfort and high standard services to pilgrims who are going to be travelling with Bahrain Air from different destinations to King Abdul Aziz International Airport at Jeddah.”

“By this, we hope to create our passengers interest and make them experience a unique flight service while being engaged spiritually in performing Hajj duties and worshiping,” he concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
