TI’ME Hotels to redesign Dubai property

Dubai, April 17, 2013

UAE-based hospitality company, TI’ME Hotels Management, has announced it is redesigning the TI’ME Oak Hotel & Suites property located in the Tecom area of Dubai, adding 59 new rooms to its accommodation inventory.

The hotel’s existing inventory of 161 rooms will be increased by 37 per cent, offering a revised total of 221 units out of 59 deluxe rooms and 129 one-bedroom suites, during the busy corporate season, a statement from TI’ME said.

However the design is flexible enough to convert back into one and two-bedroom hotel apartments, during the holiday periods, allowing the property to offer an adaptable range of accommodation options, whilst maximising its room revenue yield, all year around.

“While demand for our existing two-bedroom suites is extremely high during the summer months and GCC family travel season, we are now witnessing heavy demand for one-bedroom suites and regular deluxe rooms, especially during the corporate season,” said Mohamed Awadalla, vice president, TI’ME Hotels Management.

However, the new configurations will still be suitable for GCC families, with the one-bedroom suites designed to connect to a second bedroom, via the central living space.

“We expect to see a return on investment within six months to one year as our new, more flexible room inventory will enable us to maximise room revenue across a 12-month period and even out the supply-demand equation,” added Awadalla.

In addition to its new room product, the hotel’s popular Petals all-day dining venue is undergoing refurbishment with new central buffets, and more seating to cope with increased demand.

“With more single business and leisure travellers coming through our doors we needed to look at overall capacity in high traffic areas, like our restaurants, and so this was a great opportunity to maximise on available space as well as give Petals an interior makeover, to keep the outlet fresh and appealing,” said Awadalla.

Landscaping of the exterior terrace is also included in the renovation master plan, with Petals scheduled to re-open at the end of April. – TradeArabia News Service
