Kuwait, June 13, 2013

Best Western International, a global hospitality chain, has launched its first hotel in Kuwait; the Best Western Mahboula.

The new 18-story hotel offers 96 rooms with stunning views across the Arabian Gulf. All guest rooms, including 16 suites, feature modern facilities and complimentary internet access, while the property will also be a hub for the corporate market, with two dedicated floors of conference and banqueting space.

These include a selection of meeting rooms and ballrooms, plus a modern business center.

For the leisure market the hotel offers a swimming pool and gymnasium, while a broad selection of food and beverage options are also on hand, including East Garden restaurant, serving all-day international cuisine, a lobby lounge and poolside café.

“The Middle Eastern region is offers tremendous opportunities for Best Western and we are delighted to be launching our world-renowned brand in another exciting market – Kuwait,” de Souza said.

“Last year we debuted in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Oman, as well as returning to Bahrain. Our launch in Kuwait continues this impressive pattern of growth. We are confident that travelers across the region will welcome our trusted values of comfort, convenience and excellent service,” he added.

Following the addition of the Best Western Mahboula Best Western International now operates a Middle East portfolio of nine hotels in seven countries – Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel.

But this portfolio is expected to more than double to 22 hotels in the next few years, according to a statement. – TradeArabia News Service
