Emirates to fly Kabul daily from Dec 4

Dubai's national carrier Emirates has announced plans to launch its daily passenger service from Bahrain to Afghanistan's capital city Kabul starting from December 4.
 
Kabul will be the 138th destination on the Emirates route network after the recent commencement of services to Clark (Philippines), Conakry (Guinea) and the soon to be launched flight to Sialkot (Pakistan) on  November 5, said a statement from Emirates.

The daily flight to Afghanistan’s capital city from Bahrain via Dubai is aimed at catering to corporate business travellers, as well as Afghan nationals returning home to visit friends and family.

As per the Bahrain-Kabul schedule, the flight EK836 will take off from Bahrain International Airport at 03.50am and land in Dubai at 06.05am. The flight EK 640 will depart Dubai daily at 9.55am and arrive in Kabul at 1.15pm.

On return, the flight, EK 641 will leave Kabul airport at 3.30pm and arrive in Dubai at 6pm. The flight EK835 will then take off from Dubai International Airport at 02.30am and arrive land in Bahrain at 02.45am (local time).

The route will be operated by an Airbus A340-500 configured in a three cabin configuration, offering 12 First Class, 42 Business Class and 204 Economy Class seats, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
