Miagen wins Etihad planning contract

Abu Dhabi, January 9, 2014

Miagen, an Ireland-based forecasting, planning and analysis consultancy, has won a contract with Etihad Airways to help develop its growth plan.

Under the contract, Miagen will help Etihad develop and model its five-year plan of growth through the use of Miagen’s specially developed integration product ‘Rocket.’

The company has also planned to open an office in the UAE within the next six months, in a bid to attract more companies in the Middle Eastern market.

It is also currently in the process of signing a deal with Aramex, based in Jordan.

Miagen currently has offices in Dublin, London and Doha and specialises in the design and implementation of industry specific models to solve complex financial planning needs for clients.

In partnership with US-based Adaptive Planning, a leader in cloud-based business analytics solutions, Miagen offers the software as a service (SaaS) platform allowing finance and management teams to work together to plan, monitor, report on, and analyse financial and operational performance, enabling better, faster and more collaborative decisions and driving a true competitive advantage.

CEO Teddy Murphy said: ’’We are really excited to be working with Etihad, as a dynamic, young, high achieving organisation which is changing the mould for forecasting and planning in the aviation sector.’

"Cloud technology is becoming increasingly popular in the region and companies are ready to take their finance departments to the next level which frees up the CFO’s time to have a more strategic impact on the business,” he added. - TradeArabia News Service
