Gulf Air adds more flights to Beirut, Amman

Manama, July 3, 2014

Gulf Air is introducing additional flights to Beirut, Amman and Bangkok from July 25 to cope with increased demand in summer.

The summer schedule for Amman will be effective until October 25, while those for Beirut and Bangkok will be in effect until September 14 and September 27 respectively, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

"With the summer and Eid holidays fast approaching we are seeing an increase in travel demand to some of the airline's most popular destinations," said Gulf Air's acting chief commercial officer Ahmed Janahi.

"Our additional flights to Amman, Beirut and Bangkok follow our recently increased frequencies to Cairo, Istanbul and Larnaca, as well as the launch of our newest destination, Athens.

"The launch of Gulf Air's summer schedule reinforces our business strategy to strengthen the airline's core regional network while maintaining strategic business and tourism links to key global destinations."

Services to Amman have been increased from two flights a day to 17 a week, while flights to Beirut have been increased to nine a week and flights to Bangkok to seven a week. - TradeArabia News Service
