DC Aviation buys new business jet

Dubai, August 20, 2014

DC Aviation, the parent company of DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF), has added a new business jet, Cessna Citation XLS+, to support its growing operations.

With the addition of the new aircraft, DC Aviation is now the largest operator of this type of aircraft in Europe with eight XLS+ in its fleet, the company said.

The XLS+ combines trans-continental range and first-class cabin luxury with remarkable performance efficiency. This mid-size jet is loaded with features generally reserved for large, commercial aircraft and it is equally appreciated by both passengers and operators, a statement said.

“Our current portfolio supports the dynamic growth strategy of the DC Aviation Group in both Western and Eastern Europe as well as in the Middle East. This is the best way to prepare the company for current and future developments on the world market,” said Michael Kuhn, CEO of DC Aviation.

Holger Ostheimer, general manager of the joint venture between DC Aviation and Al-Futtaim said: “The addition of the latest aircraft to the DC Aviation fleet perfectly blends with the group’s growth strategy and provides our customers in the Middle East with access to the largest fleet of mid-sized business jets in Europe. With DCAF’s aircraft operator certificate approval expected in the last quarter of this year, we are perfectly poised to grow the organization by expanding its fleet.” – TradeArabia News Service
