The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has called on members and business owners in the kingdom to actively participate in local, regional and global events.

In a statement, the chamber’s chief executive Nabeel Al Mahmood said it has received invitations from the organisers of a number of trade fairs and exhibitions, offering expansion and growth opportunities to local merchants, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

At the national level, BCCI members have been invited to participate in the Charity Innovation Conference being held during October 10-11 at the Gulf Hotel.

Events in neighbouring countries include ABCE 2015 during September 8-9 in Oman, Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum and Sixth Ministerial during November 1-5 in Riyadh, which will also host the 18th Asian Health Exhibition & Conference during December 7-9 and the 16th Asian International Exhibition & Conference of Information and Communication Technology during December 14-16.

BCCI has also been invited to the Kuwait International Trade Fair in Kuwait City during February 21-27 next year.

At the regional level, BCCI has received invitations to the 2nd Cairo Energy and the International Conference & Exhibition for Logistics, Ports & Shipping being held concurrently in Cairo, Egypt during September 1-3, as well as the Jordan-GCC Economic Links Forum during September 2-3 and the Reconstruction of Gaza International Exhibition during September 3-6, both in Amman, Jordan.

It has also been invited to the 56th Cairo Fashion and Tex from October 1-4 in Cairo and the 12th International Show of Agriculture Machinery and Fishing from October 28 to November 1 in Tunis, Tunisia.

International events include the Arab-Chinese Co-operation Forum in the Field of Technology Transfer and Joint innovation during September 10-12 and the China International Auto Products Expo during September 19-22, both at Yinchuan International Exhibition Center, Ningxia, China.

BCCI has also been invited to the 6th Muslim World Biz from October 27-30 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; the Investment in Congo Forum during November 18-19 in Congo and the 2nd China-Russia Expo from December 1-15 in Harbin, China. - TradeArabia News Service
