NRI businessmen discuss investment with Modi

ABU DHABI, August 16, 2015

Leading non-resident Indian (NRI) businessmen in the UAE met the visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Abu Dhabi, UAE, today (August 16) and discussed various issues related to investments in India.

The businessmen, led by Abu Dhabi Chamber director board member and the managing director of LuLu Group of companies, Yusuffali M A, updated Modi about the prevailing business scenario in the UAE and also about the challenges faced by them in investing in India.

Prime Minister Modi is on a two-day official visit to the UAE.

The Prime Minister urged the NRI businessmen to renew their efforts to bring in more investments into their motherland, especially in the infrastructure and related fields and highlighted the role of the "Make in India" programme initiated by the Indian government for the future generation of Indians. - TradeArabia News Service
