Emaar unveils second phase of Dead Sea housing

Emaar International Jordan (EIJ), the country subsidiary of leading real estate developer Emaar Properties, has unveiled the second phase of The Apartments at the Samarah Dead Sea Resort master-planned community.

A select number of units of the Mediterranean-styled low-rise residential towers from five buildings in the second phase of The Apartments will be offered for sale ranging from studios, one and 2 bedroom apartments as well as 2 bedroom lofts.

Currently being showcased are a choice of studios, one- to three-bedroom apartments and one- and two- bedroom lofts ranging in size from 52 to 255 sq mt in total area.

Homes at the second phase of The Apartments will open for sale on July 11 with a financial institution providing easy home finance packages. Prices for the launching homes start at JD101,888 ($143,706).

Emaar will also showcase the homes in its international markets including the UAE and other Gulf countries to reach out to investors and home buyers in these countries.

“The concerted efforts of the Government to shore up the economy and create a new development dynamics, particularly for the Dead Sea region, have contributed to boosting market sentiment,” said Radzi Zakaria, general manager of EIJ.

He added: “The second phase of The Apartments will also be amenity-rich, and offer residents easy access to the Beach Club, thus assuring a modern, marina-inspired lifestyle.

“All homes have the highest aesthetic standards and design specifications that are specifically aimed at enhancing the quality of living. Contracts for the second phase will be awarded soon with the first homes scheduled to be handed over in 2010.”

The homes have spacious rooms, walk-in closets, and bathrooms and kitchens with superior fittings. The large windows and balcony opening to spectacular views of the Dead Sea allow for generous inflow of light.

Lifestyle amenities include retail outlets, hotels, the Beach Club and leisure areas. The Rift Living homes are located directly on the Dead Sea, adjacent to the waterway and across Wadi Mukheiris from the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre and Samarah Dead Sea Resort Sales Centre, adding to their accessibility.

The JD354 million Samarah Dead Sea Resort is owned by The Dead Sea Touristic and Real Estate Company, a venture of Emaar Properties and a group of regional and Jordanian investors. – TradeArabia News Service
