Nasmah project on track

Manama, August 3, 2009

Bahrain-based Islamic mortgage provider Sakana Holistic Housing Solutions and RMK Projects held an Open Day for owners of ‘Nasmah’ Freehold residential Tower, during which two furnished model apartments were put on display.

Ishaq Al Kooheji, president and CEO of RMK Projects and R Lakshmanan, chief executive officer of Sakana, provided latest information about the project to customers and members of the media. Sakana advisers answered queries relating to the project and mortgage finance.

Nasmah, which means ‘a breath of fresh air’ in Arabic, is an affordable freehold apartment tower valued at $20 million. Its buyers, who belong to different nationalities, have either bought it for personal use or for investment.

The building, consisting of 120 two-bedroom apartments each with a balcony that overlooked the city or the sea, has a rooftop swimming pool and a fully-equipped fitness centre, a dedicated car park, squash court, event hall and other amenities.

Sakana, which entered property consultancy services with the launch of Nasmah, also provides mortgage financing of up to 90 per cent of property value for residents.

“This is the day we have been waiting for to show our esteemed customers the quality apartments we committed to develop. We are grateful to customers for placing trust on us at the time of purchase. We are now focusing to complete the pending works and ensure smooth handover which is expected to be end of December 2009,” Al Kooheji said.

Lakshmanan said: “We are extremely pleased with the progress of the project, particularly in these challenging times. We have been able to sell out the project in record time by providing affordable and quality apartments.” - TradeArabia News Service
