DPG sees Remraam construction in full gear

Dubai, September 14, 2010

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, said the upcoming Remraam residential community in the heart of Dubailand has accomplished several key construction milestones as it nears completion.

Remraam, a residential development offering a range of residences in various sizes to accommodate different budgets and needs, is poised to become a landmark offering among DPG’s diverse residential portfolio, said a DPG statement.

The distinctive development continues to advance steadily as 40 buildings at Remraam have reached full height. The most recent progress has been reported by Screampoint Property Observer, the Rera-approved inspection agency, the statement added.

Remraam has achieved steady progress on-site with the completion of 100 per cent of the foundation work. Furthermore, approximately 77 per cent of superstructure and 72 per cent of the infrastructure works are complete, said Khalid Al Malik, group chief executive officer of DPG.

"The installation of wall and floor ceramics, metal works, doors and windows has been completed for several buildings. More than 20 per cent of the internal and external paint works are complete while the external decorative concrete and metal works on the buildings’ facades are 50 per cent finished."

"The set-up of a 132 KV electrical substation is also in progress," Al Malik revealed.

The company, he said, was in discussions with several mortgage providers to inform them of the significant developments at Remraam and to confirm that mortgage customers will be able to receive their units within the communicated timelines.

"As part of this effort, DPG has hosted representatives from these mortgage providers on-site to view the actual and anticipated construction progress," he noted.

"We are very pleased to announce the major construction milestones at Remraam. The Remraam community complements our existing portfolio of residential properties and is a very attractive destination for our discerning customers."

"DPG aims to achieve more significant milestones in the months ahead and we remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering Remraam to our valued customers," Al Malik added.

In keeping with Dubai Properties Group’s mission to create unparalleled residential communities, Remraam provides an attractive alternative to high rise urban living for individuals and families seeking a secure, community-centered lifestyle, away from the crowds and noise of the city.

Residential units at Remraam are set in low-rise Moorish architecture and amidst ample landscaping. The development includes spacious studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom residences, many with extended balconies, terraces and private gardens.

Occupying a prime location in Dubailand, Remraam is easily accessible by major highways and road networks including Emirates Road, Dubai Bypass Road and Al Khail Road.

With its focus on a vibrant community life, Remraam will feature well-manicured landscapes, walking paths, children’s playgrounds and other recreational facilities. A community center with convenience stores and restaurants is also in the pipeline.-TradeArabia News Service
