Bahrain Minister of Works Essam Bin Abdulla Khalaf inspected the ongoing construction work in the boys primary school at Al-Eker in the Central Governorate of the Kingdom.

The BD2.1 million ($5.56 million) project includes construction of a three-storey academic block on a gross floor area of 3,922 sq m and a four-storey block on 3,326 sq m area in the school, said the works ministry statement.

In addition to this a multipurpose hall, guard room, sub-station and switch station will be constructed besides a boundary wall with associated external and drainage, it added.

Project contractor Technical Construction Company said about 78 per cent of the work has been completed and the project will be ready by the end of August.-TradeArabia News Service
