Nass Corporation has announced a net profit of BD1.827 million ($4.846 million) for the first quarter of the year against BD4.043 million for the same period last year.

Gross turnover reached BD24.904 million against BD29.190 million for the first three months of 2010.

'The board of Nass Corporation is pleased to announce that despite extremely adverse conditions prevailing over the past few months in the Gulf region in general and Bahrain in particular, which has put enormous pressure on the turnover and profit margin, the company has been able to achieve a reasonable level of profit,' said chairman Abdulla Ahmed Nass.
