Sakana sees Bahrain housing project on track

Manama, June 27, 2011

Bahrain-based Sakana Holistic Housing Solutions, the Islamic mortgage finance provider, said the first phase of its Busaiteen residential project was on track and scheduled for handover next month.

Sakana Busaiteen project is a housing project comprising 10 three-storey buildings designed to the highest standards of comfort for the contemporary family in Busaiteen area of Bahrain.

Sakana chief executive officer R Lakshmanan said despite current market conditions the company has ensured that the first phase of the project comprising 5 three-storey buildings is ready for occupation as per schedule in July.

'The project appeals to the long-held cultural preferences for housing which allows extended families to live “together”, while maintaining a degree of privacy. We are pleased to provide customers the option of either purchasing an entire building or individual apartments,' he added.

At ‘Sakana Busaiteen’ each building comprises individual self-contained 3 bed room apartments, with shared common facilities.

All the buildings are individually created to incorporate touches of traditional architecture in their luxurious contemporary design.

The compound will offer a selection of facilities for each three-storey house, dedicated car park, lift, swimming pool and garden area. The location offers an easy commute to Manama, as well as Muharraq’s commercial centre.

The project contractors are RP Construction and the consultants are Akbari Architects, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
