Cairo development ‘Best Future Residential Project’

Cairo, February 27, 2012

Cairo Festival City, a leading mixed use development project, was recently awarded the Cityscape Egypt Real Estate Award for ‘Best Future Residential Project at a star-studded awards ceremony held at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza Hotel.

The event which hosted key players in the residential, retail and leisure industries, saw Cairo Festival City recognised for their apartment range; Festival Living, said a statement.

Dr. Mohamed Mikawi, managing director, Cairo Festival City, said: “This award is a testament to our continued dedication to meet the needs of Cairo’s ever changing population, offering an environment where families can truly find all their needs to live, work and play.”

“The innovation demonstrated in our designs is guided first and foremost by the needs of our local community, which is why offering diversity in apartment sizes and focusing on the abundance of wide open spaces and lush green landscaping make up such crucial elements of Festival Livings overall design,” he said.

Expected to open in 2016, Festival Living, located in the North-West section of Cairo Festival City, will offer 573 units, ranging in size from 130m to 330m².

Offering two, three and four bedroom apartments with a limited number of 4 bedroom duplexes, the gated community will be integrated through large terraces, public and private gardens as well as water features, the statement said.

The residents will also have access to a range of amenities, including a modern clubhouse, which will offer a range of facilities including an outdoor swimming pool, a spa, multi-purpose playgrounds, a kindergarten, lounges and restaurants.

Cityscape entered the Egyptian market for the first time this year, in partnership with Next Move, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
