Hill International wins 2 new Jabal Omar deals

Makkah, March 5, 2012

Hill International, a global leader in managing construction risk, has received two new contracts from Jabal Omar Development Company for its Makkah project.

The two contracts have a combined estimated value to Hill of approximately SR25.3 million ($6.7 million), a statement said.

The Jabal Omar development is a 57-acre real estate development featuring 38 high-rise towers. Hill's new contracts involve an increase in manpower resources for Hill's existing project management contract for phases one and two of the development as well as design review services for phases three, four and five. Hill has been the project manager on the development since August 2010.

"We are honoured that Jabal Omar has entrusted Hill with these expanded assignments," said Mohammed A Al Rais, senior vice president and managing director (Middle East) for Hill's Project Management Group. "I am confident that our team will deliver on all of our client's directives," Al Rais added.
