Al Hassan Engineering wins EPC deal from PDO

Al Hassan Engineering Company, an Oman-based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor, has secured a multi-million dollar deal from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).
 
The EPC contract is for the Rabab Harweel Power Plant & HRSG Project (RHIP), said a statement.
 
The scope of work under this contract includes design, manufacture, packing, transport, insurance, delivery at site, erection supervision, pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance testing and the complete work associated with the Rabab Power Station. 
 
The RHIP facility will include sour gas processing facilities and associated gathering and injection systems and export pipelines.
 
It will handle the production of oil and gas from the Harweel reservoirs and the production of gas with condensate from the Rabab reservoir.
 
The project is expected to be completed by August 2018.
 
Dr Fahd Bakour, CEO, said: “We are extremely happy to have successfully secured this contract from PDO on an EPC basis. The Rabab Harweel Power plant builds on our significant reference list in the oil and gas sector and is a key milestone in the development of our EPC strategy. 
 
“Recently, we have successfully completed the construction of Saih Nihayda Depletion Compression project as well as Kauther Gas Depletion Compression Project for PDO and currently, we are executing the Zauliyah Gas Compression Project Phase-III on EPC Basis for PDO.” - TradeArabia News Service
