Pearl-Qatar hosts residents open day

Doha, March 30, 2014

United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar recently held its first Residents’ Open Day in 2014, designed to serve as a networking and orientation get-together for residents of the Island.

The event brought together residents from the various residential districts and neighborhoods of The Pearl-Qatar, including Porto Arabia, Viva Bahriya and Qanat Quartier.

Other participants included retailers operating in The Pearl-Qatar, visitors, media, as well as staff and management from UDC and its flagship development, The Pearl-Qatar.

Organised by The Central Authority Directorate (TCAD), the Open Day saw representatives from all UDC departments and divisions actively participate by giving information about the growing list of services available exclusively for residents of The Pearl-Qatar.

“We think this is a great opportunity for our residents to come and network with one another and with managers and executives from UDC and The Pearl-Qatar,” said Abdulrahim Al-Ibrahim, The Pearl-Qatar’s Director of The Central Authority Directorate.

“The Island is a thriving multicultural community, and we are thrilled to have this opportunity to get to know our residents and to listen to their experiences, opinions and feedback so we can continue to add to the ever-growing range of five-star services and to sustain the Island’s superb image as a luxurious and unique place to live.”

A fun-filled entertainment corner designed specifically for children lured parents and their kids to the area. The full list of activities included face painting, Henna tattoos, inflatable games, painting tables and balloon twisting.
